Oh the unfortunate power of: "I don't know"
I don’t know how to make this better…
I don’t know what I want…
I don’t know how to make the switch…
I don’t know how to get healthy…
I don’t know the answer…
I am a firm believer that WE ALWAYS KNOW, but are we doing the things to allow ourselves to really see?! Bottom line, what I have found is that most of the time, our “I don’t know’s” are serving us in really weird ways. Here’s what I mean:
“I don’t know” gives us the flexibility to NOT commit.
It’s a cop out.
It’s an excuse.
It creates mirages so we don’t have to take responsibility.
It’s keeping us watered down in our opinions.
It’s keeping us from NOT putting ourselves out there for fear of all these made up reasons.
It’s even keeping us “safe”.
Here’s a new thought to consider: It is safe to know!
When you allow yourself to know, you are in alignment with yourself and there is no safer place to be! When you know, you get to drive your own life, manifest amazing things, be a part of awesome opportunities, and consciously choose life! What could be better than that??
Here’s a couple questions to help you know:
What do I really want in this moment, in this day, in this situation? What am I ultimately afraid of in this situation? Is what I want greater than what I fear?
What do I not know that I need clarity on?
Where do I start? What’s just 1 thing I need to get moving?
What do I need to do more of to make this easier?
Who can help keep me accountable?
You DO know, it’s a matter of navigating your thoughts, rewriting your questions, and ultimately making a choice to commit and put yourself out there!
You Got this!
Today, this is a practice in KNOWING.
